The End of the Year 2017 Book Tag

This tag was created by Book Tuber  Ariel Bissett

This looked like so much fun so I thought I would give it a try. So here goes…

1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I loved both of these series and I have no good reason for not finishing these books. Life just kind of happened. I got distracted and just never got back to them. Deep Redemption (Hades Hangmen #4) by Tillie Cole for sure I want to finish because I want to catch up on the rest of this series. If I have time I want to finish the conclusion to the Ground Rules series just because I’m interested in seeing how it plays out.

2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?

Not really. I’m not a seasonal reader.

3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

I think all the books I want to read for 2017 have been published but you never know…

4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

carnival       willow      finches

If I’m being honest I have a lot more than 3 books I want to read before the end of the year but these are my top 3. I’m currently reading Carnival, Book 4 in the Traveling series which I loved so much. There is something so comforting about these books. These characters in this traveling carnival feel like family and I can’t read enough about them. Whore is another greatly anticipated read. Willow Aster is a top favorite author and I can’t wait to dive into this. Finally, A Charm of Finches is a follow up to An Exaltation of Larks which was such a beautifully epic book. I just know that I’m going to experience something amazing reading this book. After these 3 books I will complete my Goodreads reading challenge!!

5.) Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

I hope I’m not disappointed but something just tells me this is something special.

6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?

Oh absolutely! The year is already off to a great start. So many great reads are expected already. I think I’m going to challenge myself and increase my reading goal next year. Here are a few I already have planned to read.

crack    stud    brave line

hook     cruel prince     lord of the shadows

Well that’s a wrap! Hope you got some good recs for your own shelf from this post. If you want to have some fun and do this tag, comment below so I can check out your books.
