Review Blitz: The Wright Secret by K.A. Linde

A new brother’s-best-friend stand alone romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I was just his best friend’s little sister.

But he was always more than that to me.

After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.

Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.

There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.

So I’m willing to keep our secret. Because I want him Wright here, right now.

A brother’s best friend romantic standalone with a seriously power driven heroine.

I will tell you off the bat that it was the heroine that made this book good for me. Morgan is the new CEO of a Fortune 500 Company, Wright Construction. Yes it is a family business but she rightfully earned her place. She is a workaholic, extremely intelligent and she is a formidable force that can stand toe to toe with any man.

She does not have a lot of time for dating but she has had feelings for her brother’s best friend Patrick since she was a teenager. Patrick has never appeared to see her as anything other than a kid sister until recently. Patrick is a known manwhore who does not do relationships and he is hesitant to get involved with Morgan because of what her brothers will think. Morgan was a badass. She actually propositions him first and from there things heat up.

While Patrick was not my ideal hero (I always prefer the alphas and Morgan really overshadowed him), this book was quite sexy with some swoon worthy moments.

I also loved the family dynamics of the Wrights with Morgan and her brothers and their wives. It was fun to see the reaction of her brothers when they finally find out about Morgan and Patrick. There is also a bit of non romantic angst in the storyline that made it that much more interesting to me.
