Royally Screwed (Royally #1)

royally screwed

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant; hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn’t bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

Dating a prince isn’t what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.

There’s a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they’ve traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven’t chopped anyone’s head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.

But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.

Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King… or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

This is a royal romance not to be missed! I loved this one SO SO MUCH!!! This is a sexy, swoon worthy fairytale with an arrogant dirty talking Prince and a lovable heroine who saw the man and not the crown.

Prince Nicholas Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco is the ultimate bachelor. On a mission to find his brother and bring him back home, he comes across Olivia, a waitress living in New York City. His proposal to take her to his bed is not taken as well as he expects. Nicholas is a man who is used to getting what he wants but Olivia is not dazzled by his title and refuses him at first. Nicholas is pleasantly surprised and realizes that this girl is different from the rest.

So begins this beautiful love affair but this fairytale is not withouut obstacles. How does a common waitress girl fit into the world of grandeur and scrutiny of the royal family? On top of that, Nicholas is struggling with his responsibility of being next in line for the throne and fulfilling his duty to his people. These two certainly have theIr work cut out for them to get their HEA. However, let me just say that this book has ONE OF THE MOST SWOON WORTHY MOMENTS I have ever experienced in any book. My heart hurt from how much emotion I was feeeling! I felt like crying and smiling all at the same time!!!

I cannot recommend this book enough and 6 stars for these narrators! They were so amazing!

Royally Matched (Royally #2)

royally matched

Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him “space”—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world’s most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit… and her naughty sense of humor.

5++ Stars

AAAHHHH! I thought I was in love with Prince Nicholas but it’s Prince Henry that has captured my heart!!

From the first book in the series, my impression of Henry was the younger irresponsible brother. He was the fun one, the life of the party and not really one to take anything seriously. When Queen Lenora is away travelling, Henry agrees to be the star of a reality show, kind of like The Batchelor: Royal Edition. I found this book to have much more humor than the first one in the series. Probably because Henry by nature has this relaxed, fun loving personality and being a jokester is sort of his default mode. Of course all the antics that come with a house full of noble women fighting over a prince add to the hilarity of it all.

Sarah Von Titebottum is such an unlikely match for this loud, exuberant Prince. She is the shy, quiet girl in the corner. They are the definition of opposites attract and the unfolding of their love story was so beautiful. This book was so much sexier than the first. The author does not hold back and the hotness level was crazy high in this one.

Sarah has been through a lot in her life and her quiet demeanor should not fool you. This is a heroine of strength. I loved watching Henry mature and become the man we all knew he could be and Sarah was the perfect woman to have by his side. This book was so much more than laughs and sexy times. The growth of these characters individually and their powerful love for each other was so heartwarming and uplifting. Where Prince Nicholas was respected by the people, Henry was loved. He has a natural charisma that draws you to him and you cannot resist his passionate and loveable personality.

Another audio book Emma Chase recommmendation from me. I suppose this could be read as a standalone but I think reading Royally Screwed first would be best so you don’t miss out on meaningful references.
